We hope everyone had a very blessed and Happy Easter, a great time to reflect on the resurrection -
Praise the Lord, He is Risen!
We had a long weekend of church services - first Good Friday, then 2 Saturday and 3 Sunday - Josh worked them all, I did childcare at 2 and attended one - we were all at church most of the weekend, but it was great. Then Sunday after services we came home and for the first time did Easter at our place! My parents brought some of the food, I made some of the side dishes, it was a great meal and lots of fun.
Matthew really enjoyed Easter this year - he woke up to an Easter basket in his room, full of candy and little surprises - his favorite was a chocolate ducky - forget the chocolate bunny! Listen for his "quack" noises in the video, and just watch as he discovers it's edible :-) Later on he got some Easter treats and toys from both Grandma and Grandpas, and we got a visit from Aunt Simone as well - lots of fun, can't wait until next year!
.
Matthew's smile first thing Easter morning,
he's always so happy to see us - we love it!
Wouldn't quite slow down to take a pic
too excited to see his new toy. . .
His new lawnmower - it blows bubbles!

Mmmmmm. . .he's discovered Jelly Beans!
Finally, I had to share this photo - it melts my heart. He sleeps with a tiny little teddy bear that was Josh's as a baby, and he always tucks it right under his chin - so cute!
